Celebrating Valentine is not an easy thing, rather a very complicated one. You must be very aware of you and your beloved one, as you must wish from the bottom of your heart being with that special person together. I am sure you are going to be the perfect Valentine's gift for your partner, but please don't forget to buy something special for your lover, whatever unsignificant it may appear. May be even a travel to Romania!

Casa Bazna is an ideal place for spending Valentine's days

Don't even try to celebrate Valentine's if you are not in the mood! You must be totally prepared, by activating your chakra (I am not a guru, but the love chakra you are going to find very easy), and having read something about prana and karma.Valentine's day is totally different from any other usual party which you can attend and organize throughout the year, in Romania or elsewhere. Your love must be deeper and clearer like a love song of Julio Iglesias or Leonard Cohen.

After all these necessary preliminary considerations, let's go back to work: choosing the right places and destinations for your Valentine's Day in Romania. There are more possibilities indeed, as every people is different, and couples really special comparing to anyone.

Being on a budget, the X Hostel from Bucharest is a good option

If you are on a budget, but really want to spend an unforgettable, full of love and romance getaway in Romania, I can recommend the Hostel X from Bucharest, where you can stay with 5 Euros in a dorm with 6 beds. More money, better rooms with much more intimacy! Meanwhile you can walk, of course, in the renowned Bucharest parks, visit its interesting museums and taking part to the many cultural events organized in Bucharest on a  regular basis. Bucharest is really not an expensive city, you don't need to spend a fortune for this dream travel , you won't give up daily more than 20 Euros.

Hotel Ramada Parc might to the first sight not very attractive for lovers, but the staff is very friendly and professional, protecting your intimacy

If you are not on a budget, you may want probably to go in a fancy fashioned hotel from Bucharest, and I would propose and suggest Ramada Park****, as I know it personally, and was always enthusiasthic about the friendliness and kindness of the staff . They are always ready to help, but won't trouble your wish to go intimate with your special one in the restaurant or room. They really have a touch of class.

But besides Bucharest, there are other interesting and seducing Valentine's destinations in Romania. Not far from Bucharest, 160 km away to be more precisely, in the nice town of Predeal you will be able to find the hotel Piemonte ****. Not so big as Ramada Park, could seem friendlier and more familiar. It is indeed, the people from Ramada won't disappoint you at all. Holding the lovely hand of your partner, you can walk in Predeal, climb the mountains, ski (if there is some snow) or visit Brasov (only 10 km away, easy reachable even by taxi. Taxi in Romania is another bargain, but you mare supposed to meet the normal precautions ).

Similar to Piemonte, but even friendlier and much more peaceful is Casa Bazna *** . You are there in the middle of nowhere, it is unbelievable quiet and intimate, in the middle of a traditional village. You can also walk on the hills around, through the nice forests, you can discover some spas very close, or you can visit Medias, Sighisoara or Sibiu. You can have a wide choice of things to do, but remember that your special one is the most important and you should not neglect his/ber by any means!

Best destinations for singles in Romania on Valentine's day

As the Valentine's day is approaching fast, very fast, I am sure that all of you being in a relationship, marriage etc made all the preparations needed to spend it in the most romantic way with your favorite one. Romania is of course a good option, as I recommended it more times.

For the others,which are not so happy this time, the Valentine's day could come with some unpleasant feelings like frustration, loneliness, unhappiness, depression. In fact, you must not make it so dramatic, maybe it is better so for you this time. There are some cures against this depression, which could be worse and worse. One of it is working like a crazy, more and more, like a real workaholic, but it shows the results only on short time. You must make peace with yourself and stop blaming for any real or imagined bad things. A sort of yoga, if you understand what I mean. And you can do that even while traveling, makes all easier and smoother!

As a conclusion, you need a non Valentine's Day destination! And I have a selection of such destinations in Romania, where else!

1. Skiing and practicing other winter sports is a good idea, one of the best possible. Try it in Romania in Poiana Brasov, which is huge, overcrowded and charming. Drink from time to time a glass of boiled wine on the slope, but you may not exaggerate. Getting drunk doesn't help at all, but on the contrary, causes even deeper depressions! You might hate such overcrowded places like Poiana Brasov , I agree, and allow me to remember about other ski destinations in Romania. Anyway, you may not hate people and run away from them, on the contrary. Romanians are good and lovely, anytime prepared for helping someone.

2. Go on wine tasting in Romania. Is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of life. Be careful not to get drunk, spit the wine, is a basic rule of wine tasting. I think in winter the best destinations for wine tastings are Cotnari and Focsani. Be careful and inform yourself prior of your take off, due to massive snow falls not all the destinations in Romania are easy reachable. Maybe Murfatlar is then your pocket ace, as it lies south and there does not fall so much snow. Anyway, will be probably impossible to book a full Romania Wine Tour, unfortunately.

A  Romanian city break might be thing you need, if you organize it right, as a Non Valentine destination

3.As you need to kill your spleen only a few days, consider a city break in Romania, but avoid clubbing, I think to be the worst thing for you (or maybe on the contrary, you can find your night stand putting on your feet again). I can recommend Bucharest, Constanta, Sibiu and Cluj Napoca, as they have own airports and a lot of things to do and to see. And least, but not lasts, Timisoara and Oradea. If the weather will be better and the streets accessible, you can reach other Romanian cities and towns, anyone could say  something to you, you must only be prepared to hear it.

4.Going to the countryside might be an excellent idea, but the above mentioned observation applies again. There is the danger not to reach your destination, or being forced to remain there a few days longer than you have been planning. Bucovina is a good idea for that.

Most romantic destination in Romania for Valentine's day

If you bet, that I am going to send you in Romania on Valentine, you won! Why? Because I love this country, and because is a wonderful thing for you, as a guest. And don't bother if you haven't any partner, you can go on your own!

Traveling to Romania on Valentine's Day might be tricky, only because in Romania on that time is very cold, but you won't sleep under the stars. I would select the best destinations, the romantic ones.
First of all, I will propose you to go on the seaside, in Constanta. The spell of the sea in winter is much easier to hear and see, as there are no the crowds of tourists. Besides, Constanta has also some amazing attractions, like theatre, museums and mall, offering a complete entertainment. I suggest to lodge at Malibu hotel, next to Mamaia resort, a noble place where everybody will spoil you! A romantic evening in one of the leading restaurants of the downtown, maybe Cazino, will complete your moment of glory!

The wonderful city of Oradea and it charming downtown

Very different from Constanta, and also far away (1000 km away) is Oradea. It is not so big, but  really seducing in the Old city. Staying in Continental hotel from Oradea means a lot, and the friendly staff will not disturb you unnecessary. So, please, pay all the attention to your partner, and have a wonderful vacations, good to remember and describe to friends or nephews! The creamy cauliflower soup can make the difference, I guess it to be an excellent and tasty  aphrodisiaque! You can then forget, neglect and cancel the schedule for the evening, stay to your partner.

The city of Iasi is doubtless a Romanian cultural Capital. Besides, offers excellent entertainment and shopping opportunities

If you are the type of lover desperately searching for intimacy and insulation, I will recommend you a small cabin in Sinaia. Very peaceful there, almost unbelievable, unless you are on week-ends. You can ski, and have a glass of boiled wine on the slope, just to raise you fantasies,  in case you might need! As a small break, you can visit the Peles castle, which is an amazing art museum, and have a walk in the city, maybe with a dinner in Restaurant Casino, the most stylish and iconic in the area (restaurant Casino organized a glamour New year party, on a theme of Hollywood from 1930, btw).

Another interesting target for lovers is no doubt the city of Iasi, or Jassy. It has many museums, but also a tremendous downtown, with excellent malls and shopping or entertainment opportunities. I suggest in Iasi the hotel Moldova, with an excellent report between price and value. The restaurant is also enjoyable, for your romantic evening and foreplay, possible with meat rolls and a glass (or more) from the local red wine "Bull blood" or the "Bear power"! You won't sleep any minute all night long, I swear, as I already experienced!

Whatever you choice, have a happy Valentine's day and may your secret wishes come true. If you decide coming to Romania, let me know about it, and book at least one week before, as overbooking is probably, and even possible!
